Cut down on the amounts of saturated fat and added sugar from the daily diet. 4. Use less salt and use more seasonings. 5. Drink at least 64 ounces of water every day. 6. Do not skip meals or overeat at each meal. 7. Eat small meals that are satisfying every 2 to 4 hours. Healthy eating is a conscious choice. Eating foods that are better for the body reduces incidences of illness and obesity. A better diet will help promote weight loss and decrease health risks, such as heart disease and diabetes.
